OpenAI to Establish New EU Headquarters in Ireland, Add 250 Jobs

AI company OpenAI has announced its intention to establish a new European Union headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. The new office space, spanning approximately 8,175 square meters, will be located in the historic "Tropical Fruit Warehouse" building in the city's Docklands area.

The relocation to the new premises is scheduled to occur by the end of 2026. OpenAI currently employs over 100 individuals in Ireland. With the establishment of this new headquarters, the company plans a significant expansion of its workforce over the next two years.

The addition of 250 jobs will encompass various departments, including marketing and sales, engineering, user operations, human resources, finance, privacy, legal affairs, and corporate security.

This expansion aims to accommodate the growing employee base, enhance collaboration with clients and developers, and showcase the company's advanced technologies.
