OpenClaw Foundation Launches Open-Source AI Agent Platform for Enterprises

The OpenClaw Foundation announced on September 30 the launch of OpenClaw Enterprise, an open-source platform for managing persistent AI agents in sensitive enterprise settings. The platform aims to address security, safety, and governance concerns surrounding enterprise adoption of AI agents.

The software introduces features such as multi-tenancy, audit trails, and permission controls, which are critical for enterprise use. Users can self-host the platform by cloning its GitHub repository, using Docker Compose for local development, or deploying it internally on Kubernetes.

OpenClaw stated that the project originated at OpenAI, was later donated to the foundation, and has since been developed with contributions from Red Hat and Nvidia. The software is intended for internal pilot workloads ahead of a 1.0 release later this year.

The launch comes as enterprise buyers have increasingly prioritized AI agent security. Red Hat has been positioning its AI portfolio around agentic AI, though public materials do not currently indicate integration with OpenClaw.
