Technology firm OpenCode has transitioned the $60 usage credit for its DeepSeek V4.1 Flash AI model to a permanent offering. This move makes the advanced AI model more accessible to users on the OpenCode platform.
The credit, initially set at $60 as part of the "Operation Cheepseek" campaign, was originally a limited-time offer scheduled to end on September 20th. OpenCode's platform now reflects this $60 credit as a permanent allocation, with the previous $15 credit marked as discontinued.
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash features a 552 billion parameter Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) architecture. It supports native multimodal visual understanding and boasts significantly reduced KV Cache requirements compared to its predecessor, using one-quarter the HBM and one-eighth the SSD compared to previous versions.
OpenCode has partnered with DeepSeek, fully integrating the V4.1 Flash model. Data from OpenCode indicates that as of September 25th, the V4.1 Flash model was the most frequently used on the platform, accounting for approximately 13% of observed usage among a user base exceeding two million.
