Opera på Skäret Opens Summer Season with La Bohème

Opera på Skäret commences its summer season with Giacomo Puccini's La Bohème on July 25 and 26. The season opener features two performances, each with a different international cast of soloists.

These two separate casts will alternate throughout the opera's 13 performances, which continue until August 23. The production will be staged at the opera house located on the shores of Lake Ljusnaren.

Following several weeks of intensive rehearsals, the soloists, chorus, orchestra, and artistic team are prepared to welcome audiences to the 2026 season. The company anticipates a successful opening and a well-attended run.
