OPPO launches Watch X3 with titanium body and new strap design

OPPO has officially released its Watch X3 smartwatch, with a recommended retail price starting at 2799 yuan.

The watch features a case made from TC4 titanium alloy and is protected by sapphire crystal glass. The use of titanium alloy offers a premium metallic feel while keeping the device lightweight. The "寰月钛" (Huan Yue Titanium) color variant specifically aims for a more sophisticated aesthetic. Notably, the Watch X3 is 6.5% thinner and 13.5% lighter compared to the previous generation.

A new "bamboo knot"-style metal bracelet has been introduced, combining a metallic exterior with a soft, skin-friendly fluoroelastomer interior. This design seeks to balance the visual appeal of a metal bracelet with the comfort of a softer material for extended wear.

Equipped with a 1.5-inch LTPO OLED display, the OPPO Watch X3 offers peak brightness up to 3000 nits for sports modes. It boasts IP69 and 5ATM water resistance ratings, making it suitable for swimming and diving. Health tracking capabilities include an 8-channel heart rate sensor, a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor, an ECG sensor capable of 30-second readings, and sleep monitoring with preliminary screening for obstructive sleep apnea.

The smartwatch also incorporates an AI health model for analyzing health data and providing personalized recommendations. OPPO has collaborated with the Fuwai Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences on research exploring the role of wearables in blood pressure management.
