OPPO Schedules Reno17 Series Unveiling for November 9
OPPO has announced the debut of its latest smartphone lineup, the Reno17 series, set for November 9. The new devices feature upgraded processing hardware and imaging capabilities.
OPPO confirmed that the Reno17 smartphone series will make its debut on November 9. While the company specified the event is an unveiling rather than a formal launch conference, consumer pre-orders for the Reno17 series, alongside the Watch 5 and Pad Air6, have been active since late October.
Industry reports indicate technical variations between the models. The standard Reno17 is expected to feature a 6.57-inch display, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The Reno17 Pro model is slated to house a 6.32-inch display paired with the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 processor.
Imaging remains a core focus for this generation. Product Manager Zhang Ruoxing highlighted that the devices will support 4K resolution across all focal lengths and increase the duration of live photos to six seconds, doubling the previous three-second limit.
The series is expected to reach the retail market shortly following the November 9 presentation.
