Opto GmbH, in collaboration with its partner Pamas, has introduced the PAMAS FastPatch 2 GO system for the automated membrane filter analysis of liquids. The system analyzes particles on filter surfaces, delivering particle counts and sizes compliant with the international ISO 4407 standard.

Utilizing advanced microscopic image analysis technology, the PAMAS FastPatch 2 GO provides fast and precise measurement results across the entire filter surface or a user-selected area. The system meets the requirements of international standards including SAE AS 4059, NAS 1638, ISO 4406, and ISO 16232. It is delivered with a laptop or PC equipped with pre-installed analysis software.

The system is designed for the analysis of dark liquids, two-phase liquids, emulsions, and fluids with high contamination levels or high viscosity (after prior dilution). Key product features include automatic membrane filter analysis, sufficient image resolution for detecting smaller particles, automatic focusing on uneven surfaces, and accurate display of measurement results even with uneven particle size distribution.

The PAMAS FastPatch 2 GO offers accurate and repeatable real-time measurements, continuously updating particle counts and cleanliness classes. The analysis report details the complete filter analysis and includes a table of particle size distribution. Users can capture images of any filter surface section and add them to the report with individual particle size information. Applications include the oil and gas industry, laboratories, research centers, and particle cleanliness monitoring.
