Oracle reported its fiscal first-quarter results ended August 31, 2026, showcasing robust growth across key financial metrics. The company's net income surged 60% year-over-year to $4.68 billion, while total revenues climbed 30% to $19.34 billion.
The strong performance was largely driven by its cloud business, which saw total cloud revenue increase by 62% to $11.61 billion. Oracle's cloud infrastructure (IaaS) segment was a particular highlight, with revenues more than doubling to $7.39 billion, an increase of 121%.
Operating cash flow saw a substantial increase of 184%, reaching $23.1 billion. However, free cash flow was negative at -$5.4 billion, attributed to significant investments in expanding cloud infrastructure capacity.
Looking ahead, Oracle projects second-quarter revenue growth between 30% and 34%, with total cloud revenue expected to grow between 65% and 71%. The company anticipates full-year 2027 revenues to exceed $90 billion.
