OrangeAI Develops AI-Powered Management System for Independent Insurance Agencies
OrangeAI is releasing an AI-driven agency management system (AMS) designed to help small and midsize independent insurance agencies in the U.S. compete in a consolidating market.
OrangeAI is launching an artificial intelligence-powered agency management system (AMS) aimed at the approximately 39,000 independent insurance agencies across the United States.
The market is currently seeing consolidation, with larger conglomerates acquiring smaller agencies, pushing many independent operators to seek technological solutions. "The problem is that smaller agencies... don’t have the ability to go ahead and build. They just don’t have the time," said CEO Will Kastroll in an interview with CB Insights.
OrangeAI's system is described as a 100% agentic and 100% native AI AMS designed to enable these smaller and midsize agencies to retain their independence. Kastroll highlighted that the system's development was driven by insurance agents themselves, originating from his own agency, Harbor Insurance.
"It’s not a big tech company pushing down what they think we want. It’s actually independent agencies pushing up to the developer what we want," Kastroll stated. This approach aims to capture market share by offering a solution organically suited to the needs of independent insurance agents.
