Orestone Mining Corp. has completed a MobileMT airborne geophysical survey at its Captain Gold Porphyry Project in North Central British Columbia. The survey covered a 26-square-kilometre area and focused on further defining the T-2 conductivity target.

The project is 100 percent owned by Orestone. The T-2 target is one of three targets on the property at the intersection of interpreted northeast and northwest trending cross faults. The survey was carried out by Expert Geophysics Surveys Inc. at an estimated cost of $112,000.

Results from the survey are expected to be received and undergo detailed analysis within 30 days. These findings will be used to better define the T-2 target prior to the company's next drill program. Orestone highlights that MT geophysical surveying is a deep-seeking method typically employed for targeting deep mineralized systems, such as porphyry deposits.

The Captain project hosts a significant gold-copper porphyry system that is permitted and drill-ready. Previous drilling has identified porphyry-style alteration and mineralization at the T-1 target, which previously returned grades up to 6.46 g/t gold and 0.27% copper over 9.1 metres.

Orestone Mining Corp. also holds the Francisca gold-silver project in Salta Province, Argentina, where exploration is defining additional gold-silver targets. The company utilizes advanced geological and geophysical techniques to cost-effectively define high-potential targets for systematic drill testing.
