Orestone Mining Completes Phase One Exploration at Francisca Gold Project in Argentina
Orestone Mining Corp. has finished its Phase I exploration program at the Francisca Gold Project in Salta Province, Argentina. Initial findings reveal a significant gold-bearing stockwork system.

Orestone Mining Corp. has completed its Phase I exploration program at the Francisca Gold Project located in Salta Province, Argentina. The program involved detailed mapping and sampling, identifying a gold-bearing stockwork system within altered porphyry and hornfels.
A total of 675 rock chip samples were collected from the mineralized zones, with lengths ranging from 1 to 3 meters. These samples have been sent to Alex Stewart International in Argentina for assay analysis. The company expects to release further information shortly as it prepares for future drilling campaigns.
The exploration identified two main zones: South Gold, which shows a stockwork width of 40-70 meters over a strike length of 400-500 meters, and North Gold, featuring three sub-parallel zones averaging 40-50 meters wide and 100-150 meters long. Additional prospecting was also conducted north and south of these known mineralized areas.
Orestone CEO David Hottman highlighted the project's potential, especially given the lack of significant exploration over the past two decades, aiming to define an oxide gold deposit suitable for open-pit mining. Orestone can earn up to an 85% interest in the Francisca property.
The Francisca property is situated in Salta Province, a region known for its infrastructure and the presence of several large-scale gold, copper, and lithium projects.
