Orrön Energy reports third-quarter financials following Cloudberry merger
Orrön Energy has finalized its strategic merger with Cloudberry, resulting in a 28 million euro gain and a significant reduction in corporate debt.

Orrön Energy released its financial results for the nine-month period ending September 30, 2026, headlined by the completion of a transaction with Cloudberry. The deal saw Orrön Energy integrate its Nordic operations—with the exception of Karskruv—into Cloudberry, establishing itself as the latter’s largest shareholder with a 27.01 percent stake.
The restructuring generated a 28 million euro gain, bolstering the company's financial position. Following the transaction, Orrön Energy reported a net debt of 3 million euros. To support future operations, the company has secured a 50 million euro committed credit facility.
Moving forward, the company maintains its focus on its remaining power generation assets, including Karskruv. The shift toward a minority stake in a larger independent power producer represents a strategic pivot for Orrön Energy as it manages its capital structure and asset portfolio.
