Orthex: First-half sales increased, profitability declined
Orthex Corporation's net sales rose 5.2% to EUR 21.6 million in the first half of 2026. Comparable EBITDA decreased to EUR 2.7 million from EUR 2.9 million in the prior year.

Orthex Corporation reported a 5.2% increase in net sales for the January-June 2026 period, reaching EUR 21.6 million compared to EUR 20.5 million in the same period last year. Invoiced sales for the first half of the year totaled EUR 22.5 million.
However, the company's comparable earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (Adjusted EBITDA) saw a decrease, falling to EUR 2.7 million from EUR 2.9 million in the prior year. During the second quarter (April-June), Orthex experienced strong sales growth in the Nordic region and implemented measures to support its profitability.
The company attributes its business performance partly to a growing consumer interest in sustainable and long-lasting products. Orthex manufactures storage solutions and other household items designed to reduce the use of single-use plastics.
