Orthex Launches Self-Watering Pots and Window Boxes to Simplify Plant Care
Orthex Oyj has introduced a new line of self-watering pots and window boxes. The products are designed to simplify plant maintenance and ensure consistent watering.
Helsinki – Orthex Oyj has launched a range of self-watering pots and window boxes aimed at simplifying plant care for households. The new products feature an automatic watering system that delivers a consistent amount of water to plants as needed.
The self-watering pots function by allowing plants to absorb water from a reservoir. The products also include a measuring stick that indicates when the water reservoir needs refilling. This feature helps prevent both overwatering and drying out, enabling consistent plant growth.
The product line includes the "Eden" herb pot, the standard "Eden" pot, and the "Paulina" pot. The "Eden" herb pot can accommodate herbs directly in their original plastic containers, keeping them fresh longer. All pots are equipped with a water reservoir and a dipstick to show the water level.
In addition, Orthex offers a self-watering window box suitable for larger plants or multiple plantings on balconies and terraces. The box includes an overflow protection feature to prevent roots from sitting in excess water. Both the pots and the window box are designed for outdoor use, with the window box featuring drainage holes for excess water if necessary.
