Orvana Minerals Exceeds Gold Production Guidance in Spain for Fiscal 2026

Orvana Minerals Corp. has released its production results for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2026, ending September 30, 2026. The company announced that gold production from its Orovalle mine in Spain exceeded the fiscal year 2026 guidance. Additionally, Orvana reported the commencement of production of gold and copper products from a newly expanded plant at its Don Mario mine in Bolivia.

For the full fiscal year 2026, Orovalle produced 37,775 ounces of gold and 2.9 million pounds of copper. The gold output surpassed the company's guidance range of 34,000 to 37,000 ounces. CEO Juan Gavidia stated that the successful gold production in Spain was partly supported by the strategic use of additional contractor services, which helped mitigate labor shortages and absenteeism.

At the Don Mario mine in Bolivia, the EMIPA unit has produced its first gold doré bars and copper cathodes from the expanded plant during the fourth quarter. While EMIPA's full fiscal year 2026 production fell below the company's earlier guidance, which was withdrawn in September, current efforts are focused on optimizing the acid leaching and filtration processes. The objective is to progressively increase daily throughput towards 1,700 tonnes per day by the end of calendar year 2026.

Consolidated production for Orvana across all operations for fiscal year 2026 totaled 45,160 gold equivalent ounces (GEO), comprising 39,282 ounces of gold, 3.1 million pounds of copper, and 112,499 ounces of silver. Fourth-quarter consolidated production reached 12,947 GEO. Looking ahead to fiscal year 2027, Gavidia indicated the company's focus will remain on maintaining disciplined production, operational efficiency, and managing inflationary cost pressures.
