Orvana Minerals Subsidiary EMIPA Reports Covenant Breach in Bolivia
Orvana Minerals subsidiary EMIPA has entered a cure period after failing to meet financial covenant thresholds on its Bolivian bonds during the fourth quarter of 2026.

Orvana Minerals Corp. has disclosed that its Bolivian subsidiary, Empresa Minera Paitití (EMIPA), failed to meet financial covenant ratios required by its local bond issuances as of September 30, 2026. The subsidiary is currently in a cure period while management works to restore compliance with the agreed terms.
Parallel to the financial update, Orvana continues to ramp up operations at the Don Mario processing plant. In October, the facility processed approximately 17,500 tonnes of oxide material. CEO Juan Gavidia noted that operational throughput averaged over 900 tonnes per day in late October following technical modifications to the filtration circuit.
Management aims to increase throughput to approximately 1,400 tonnes per day throughout November. If performance remains stable and meets metallurgical expectations, the company intends to test the plant's design capacity of 1,700 tonnes per day in December. The ramp-up remains subject to continuous monitoring of mechanical performance and stability.
