OSE IMMUNO has presented its novel bispecific antibody, BICKI®IL7v, targeting both PD-1 and IL-7v pathways. This new therapeutic approach is designed to promote the expansion of TCF1+ stem-like T cells, which are crucial for a robust and durable immune response, and to enhance their long-term efficacy within the body.

Preclinical data suggests that BICKI®IL7v also revitalizes tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs). The antibody enhances IFNγ secretion, proliferation, and survival of human TILs. This mechanism could potentially overcome T-cell exclusion from the tumor microenvironment and induce a potent, long-lasting T-cell response.

The development addresses key challenges in cancer immunotherapy, particularly in patients who may have relapsed after conventional PD-(L)1 therapies. The ability of BICKI®IL7v to overcome T-cell exclusion and promote stem-like T-cell proliferation is a significant area of focus for improving treatment outcomes.

OSE IMMUNO shared these findings through a presentation. The company's research centers on harnessing the immune system to develop new therapeutic options for cancer patients. Further details on the mechanism of action and its implications are expected.

This advancement in bispecific antibody technology holds promise for future cancer treatments, aiming to provide more effective and durable responses for patients. Continued research and clinical evaluation will be key to realizing its full potential.
