Osisko Development advances North American gold mining projects

Osisko Development Corp. is currently focused on the development of two North American gold assets located in historically productive mining districts. The Cariboo Gold Project, situated in central British Columbia, Canada, is in the construction phase. The company has secured all necessary permits and is currently working toward a targeted production start date in 2029.

In addition to the Canadian project, the company is developing the Tintic Project in Utah, USA. Located in the East Tintic district, which hosts 23 past-producing mines, the project encompasses both gold and base metal targets, including the Trixie deposit. The site is part of a broader strategy to leverage known mineralized zones in mining-friendly jurisdictions.

To support these capital-intensive projects, the company finalized a $30 million strategic equity investment from Trafigura in October 2026. This funding aims to bolster the development pipeline as the firm works toward its goal of becoming an intermediate-tier gold producer.
