Osisko Development completes underground development for bulk sample at Cariboo Gold Project
Osisko Development Corp. has concluded underground development for a bulk sample at its Cariboo Gold Project in British Columbia. Preparations are underway to extract 10,000 metric tonnes of mineralized material.

MONTREAL – Osisko Development Corp. announced on December 13, 2024, that it has completed the underground development required to access the target area for a bulk sample at its Cariboo Gold Project in British Columbia.
The company has advanced approximately 1,172 meters of underground development to reach the Lowhee Zone. Preparations for the extraction of 10,000 metric tonnes of mineralized material are in their final stages, with blasting and extraction anticipated in the coming weeks.
Results from the bulk sample are expected in the first quarter of 2025. These results will support an optimized feasibility study, scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2025. Company founder, Chairman and CEO Sean Roosen stated that the team has made significant progress, reaching the orebody.
The extracted bulk sample will undergo ore sorter testing and concentrate processing in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This testing aims to provide grade reconciliation data relative to the resource model and validate assumptions on ore sorting, with the goal of reducing technical risks for the project.
