Osisko Development Reports Gold Intercepts at QR Mine Prospect

Osisko Development Corp. has released initial results from its 2024 infill drilling program at the QR Mine Prospect, part of the Cariboo Gold Project in British Columbia, Canada.

The campaign aimed to validate historical drilling data and information collected by previous owners, some of which lacked core samples. Preliminary assays show promising gold grades, including an intercept of 13.61 grams per tonne of gold over 4.15 meters, with a high-grade section of 31.90 g/t gold over 1.50 meters.

Other notable results included 5.98 g/t gold over 11.40 meters and 4.27 g/t gold over 12.00 meters. The company stated these findings are consistent with historical reports and provide preliminary validation for the reliability of past exploration data.

Osisko Development plans to proceed with further exploration, utilizing geophysical data and historical information to identify new gold targets. The area's geology and potential for concealed orebodies suggest the need for detailed geophysical surveys, which are expected to guide future drilling efforts. The company intends to refine target areas for systematic follow-up drilling.
