Osisko Development intercepts significant gold and silver grades at Trixie mine

Osisko Development Corp. announced results from its 2023 exploration program at the Trixie test mine, part of the Tintic Project in Utah. The company reported intercepts including 610 grams of gold per tonne and 1,523 g/t silver over 0.46 meters, as well as 23.89 g/t gold and 151.04 g/t silver over 9.45 meters from underground diamond drilling.

These findings stem from drilling in new development areas within the Trixie deposit. Assays from 73 underground diamond drill holes completed in 2023 have been received, totaling 6,028 meters. Several holes indicated mineralization plunging to the south towards the Sioux Ajax Fault.

Osisko Development is currently preparing a new mineral resource estimate for the Trixie deposit, which is anticipated to be released in March 2024. This estimate will incorporate all 2023 underground drilling and chip sample assay results.

The company also has one diamond drill rig active at surface, testing a copper-gold-molybdenum target at Big Hill. Osisko Development holds the Tintic Project, encompassing over 17,000 acres of claims and leases in the historic East Tintic Mining District.
