Osisko Development Launches 70,000-Meter Exploration Drill Program at Cariboo Gold Project

Osisko Development Corp. has launched a comprehensive, fully-funded 70,000-meter exploration drill program at its 100%-owned Cariboo Gold Project in central British Columbia. The campaign, scheduled to run through the end of 2026, is designed to identify new discoveries and expand existing mineralisation.

The program will initially focus on several priority targets. The Cariboo Deep target aims to test the continuation of the existing deposit at depths below 800 meters, extending beyond the current average drill depth of 350 meters for documented resources and reserves of approximately 2.07 million ounces of gold.

Regional exploration targets, including Proserpine Mountain and Barkerville Mountain, will also be explored. Proserpine Mountain is slated for approximately 20,000 meters of drilling, with preliminary indications suggesting potential for an open-pit target larger than the current Cariboo deposit.

Additional drilling will target other areas such as Cunningham and Yanks Peak. The company expects to provide an initial update on the exploration progress in the second quarter of 2026.

This extensive drilling initiative underscores Osisko Development's commitment to unlocking the full potential of the Cariboo Gold Project and is expected to yield significant insights into new gold occurrences within the region.
