Ouma Health and LilyLink Partner to Expand Gestational Diabetes Care
Ouma Health and LilyLink are partnering to expand access to gestational diabetes management nationwide through a virtual care model.

Ouma Health, the nation's largest independent telemedicine company for maternity care, has announced a partnership with LilyLink to expand its gestational diabetes (GDM) management program. The collaboration integrates LilyLink's connected glucose monitoring technology into Ouma's virtual care model, aiming to provide real-time GDM management to patients and practices nationwide.
Gestational diabetes affects up to 9% of pregnancies in the U.S. Management often involves frequent blood glucose monitoring and manual logging, which can be challenging and unreliable. Access to specialized GDM care is limited, particularly in rural and underserved areas. By combining Ouma's virtual maternity care with LilyLink's technology, the partnership seeks to improve access to high-quality GDM management, promoting healthier pregnancies.
Ouma's clinical team will manage patients with GDM using the LilyLink platform. This platform includes a patient-facing mobile app and a provider portal integrated with electronic health records (EHR) for remote patient monitoring. Patients log glucose and meal data via the app, which connects with leading continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and glucometers. Ouma clinicians can monitor real-time data and guide care without requiring patients to travel for in-person specialty appointments.
Tyler Rice, co-founder and CEO of LilyLink, highlighted the partnership's goal to support women, especially in underserved communities. Dr. Sina Haeri, CEO of Ouma Health, stated that the collaboration offers a turnkey solution that extends the capabilities of OB-GYN practices by providing virtual, MFM-led diabetes management through Ouma's team, leveraging LilyLink's technology.
