Outokumpu Partners with Metalshub to Digitalize Raw Material Sourcing
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu Oyj is expanding its collaboration with Metalshub to digitalize its raw material procurement processes, incorporating direct supplier contracts alongside existing public tenders.
Helsinki – Outokumpu Oyj, a global producer of sustainable stainless steel, is deepening its partnership with Metalshub, a provider of raw material procurement solutions. The company will extend its use of the Metalshub platform from solely public tendering to also include direct-to-supplier dealings and contract call-offs.
This expansion aims to enhance operational efficiency and standardize documentation within its supplier collaborations. Outokumpu views this digitalization as a necessary step to ensure compliant and traceable sourcing processes, meeting customer expectations for supply chain transparency.
