Outokumpu Publishes 2025 Annual Report
Outokumpu Oyj has released its 2025 Annual Report, detailing the company's financial performance, strategic initiatives, and sustainability achievements amidst a subdued market.

Steel company Outokumpu Oyj has published its Annual Report for 2025. The report outlines the company's financial results and strategic actions taken in a year marked by lower demand for stainless steel. Outokumpu launched its new growth strategy, EVOLVE, to enhance resilience against market cycles and focus on areas with higher growth and profitability.
In 2025, Outokumpu reported net sales of EUR 5,468 million and an adjusted EBITDA of EUR 167 million. Stainless steel deliveries amounted to 1,751,000 tonnes. The Europe business area experienced a slower market recovery than anticipated and faced pressure from low-priced imports, impacting profitability.
The Americas business area in the U.S., however, demonstrated significant improvement in adjusted EBITDA due to increased volumes and lower costs. The Ferrochrome business area also saw its third consecutive year of improvement, supported by solid demand for its low-emission ferrochrome.
Outokumpu highlighted its commitment to sustainability, maintaining a high recycled material content of 97% and achieving a 33% reduction in CO2 emission intensity from the 2016 baseline. The company anticipates protective measures like the CBAM regulation and proposed safeguards from the European Commission will support European producers.
