Outokumpu reports 2025 fiscal results and launches 100 million euro restructuring plan
Outokumpu has released its 2025 financial statements, reporting an adjusted EBITDA of 167 million euros. The company is initiating a 100 million euro restructuring program to address European market pressures.

Outokumpu's 2025 adjusted EBITDA fell to 167 million euros from 177 million euros the previous year. The result was impacted by weak stainless steel demand in Europe, continued pressure from low-priced Asian imports, and supply chain disruptions linked to the rollout of a new ERP system. In contrast, the company’s Americas division and ferrochrome business reported improved performance, supported by lower costs and higher volumes in the U.S. market.
To counter weak regional demand, the company has launched a 100 million euro restructuring program targeting European operations and group functions, to be completed by the end of 2027. While net debt rose to 265 million euros, management maintains that the balance sheet remains stable with total liquidity reserves of 1.2 billion euros.
Looking forward, Outokumpu is implementing its EVOLVE growth strategy for 2026–2030, which aims to improve cost competitiveness and portfolio resilience. To support this shift, the company has announced several leadership changes, including new presidents for the Stainless Europe and Americas business lines.
