OutreachGenius Uses AI Agents to Capture Missed Revenue

Winnipeg-based OutreachGenius leverages AI agents to assist home service businesses, such as plumbing and painting contractors, in responding to potential customers instantly and capturing revenue opportunities that might otherwise be lost. Founded by David Owasi, the company addresses a critical issue where delays in response can lead to missed jobs as customers turn to competitors.

OutreachGenius's AI agents do more than just answer calls; they conduct full conversations and can book appointments directly, integrated with a contractor's CRM system. The system also handles automated follow-ups via text, email, or phone until the customer responds. Owasi notes that a significant portion of callers do not realize they are speaking with AI, as being helped is their primary concern.

The most substantial value, however, comes from reactivating dormant leads within a company's existing customer database. Many businesses have untouched inquiries from potential customers who previously requested a quote but did not proceed. OutreachGenius mines these old leads and converts them into tangible revenue. Owasi suggests this reactivation of past leads can increase revenue by 30% to 40%.

OutreachGenius specifically targets high-value home service sectors like painting, roofing, and window and door installations. Businesses in these fields often have small teams working on-site, making it challenging to hire adequate office staff. The impact of even one revived lead can be significant for these operations.

The company has reported significant results, including one painting franchise generating an additional half-million dollars in revenue by reviving old leads. Another client, a flooring business, secured $100,000 in new contracts from a single AI-handled call. While most clients are currently in the U.S., OutreachGenius is actively working to expand its partnerships within Canada.
