Outside GC Adds Seven Partners in Q3, Deepening AI Governance and Privacy Expertise
Outside General Counsel LLP has added seven new partners in Q3, bringing its total to twelve in six months. The new hires bring experience from executive leadership roles and strengthen the firm's expertise in AI governance and data privacy.

Outside General Counsel LLP (Outside GC), a national law firm, welcomed seven new partners during the third quarter of 2026. The firm stated these new attorneys have extensive experience in executive roles within organizations, often managing functions beyond legal departments, such as revenue, internal audit, and product development.
The addition of these partners is intended to bolster Outside GC's capabilities in areas including artificial intelligence governance, data privacy, and cybersecurity. Three of the new partners hold specific credentials in privacy or AI governance. The firm also noted an expansion of expertise in cross-border operations, life sciences regulation, and public company governance.
"It's one thing to have advised executives. It's another to have been one," said Greg Williamson, Managing Partner at Outside GC. "Several of these partners carried responsibility outside the legal department โ for revenue, for audit, for people โ and when your lawyer has done that, the advice comes out differently. That's the judgment clients are looking for when they call us."
The seven new partners bring Outside GC's total partner count to twelve within the last six months. These individuals previously held senior legal positions at public companies, global non-profits, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and venture-backed startups, according to the firm.
