Ovako Employees Challenged World Champion Daniel Ståhl – Met at Finnkampen

Ovako employees traveled to Helsinki after winning the "Ovako Ståhl Challenge," a unique company-wide initiative that invited employees to design skill-based tasks to challenge Olympic and World Champion discus thrower Daniel Ståhl. The challenge engaged employees across Ovako's operations, combining creativity, collaboration, and a healthy dose of competitive spirit.

The winning entries came from Amanda Engström, Satu Tähkä, and Riina Heikkinen. Their challenges tested coordination, precision, and concentration. Tasks included picking up uncooked rice grains using everyday implements and accurately dropping tennis balls at a set distance.

The designers of the successful challenges received the opportunity to meet Daniel Ståhl in person at the Finnkampen athletics event in Helsinki. This meeting provided employees with a unique experience and a chance to interact with the athlete who inspired their creative endeavors.
