Over 60 injured in Russian attack on Kharkiv hospital
A Russian strike on a hospital in Kharkiv has left over 60 people injured. Meanwhile, President Zelenskyy is in Berlin for security talks with Chancellor Merz.

MDR Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk reports that a Russian attack on a medical facility in Kharkiv resulted in more than 60 injuries. Regional governor Oleh Synjehubov confirmed that 226 patients require relocation following the blast, which damaged the hospital structure and approximately 1,000 windows in surrounding residential buildings.
The strike coincides with ongoing Russian targeting of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, causing significant power outages in the Zytomyr and Odessa regions. Private energy provider DTEK reported that facilities in Odessa have been targeted repeatedly over the past two months, complicating repair efforts.
Amidst these developments, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to Berlin for meetings with Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Discussions are centered on strengthening Ukraine's air defense capabilities and stabilizing the energy sector. Concurrently, several European nations are launching a military exercise in Poland to prepare for the formation of a multinational protection force for Ukraine.
