BioArctic's partner Eisai presented findings from the real-world LEADER study, examining Lecanemab for early Alzheimer's disease (AD).

The data, shared at the AAIC® 2026 congress, indicated that approximately 83% of patients receiving Leqembi maintained clinical stability (75.9%) or showed improvement (6.6%) over an average treatment duration of 17 months.

These outcomes were consistent across various demographic groups, including sex, race, ethnicity, and APOE genotype.

Alzheimer's disease is a progressive neurodegenerative condition. Leqembi is among the newer therapeutic options aimed at slowing the disease's advancement. The study provides insights into the drug's performance in routine clinical practice.
