The collaboration was showcased at PAX East 2026, where Taylor demonstrated how his game utilizes OVR's scent delivery technology.

Lemony Fresh, developed by Taylor, places players in the role of a tiny lemon tasked with cleaning various spaces. Taylor explained that he first encountered OVR's technology at the Global Game Jam, where he discovered its potential for his game. He found the integration process to be straightforward and believed the scent technology was a natural fit for Lemony Fresh's theme.

At PAX East, the focus was on how Lemony Fresh could provide scent-based feedback to players. Taylor highlighted specific examples, such as a floral scent released at a certain point in the game and the use of 'petrichor'—the smell of rain—to signify a dishwasher cycle. He also discussed the broader potential of scent in gaming, referencing his thoughts on scent profiles for games like Portal 2.

The partnership aims to offer players a more immersive experience by adding a new sensory dimension. OVR Technology provides developers with tools to create and synchronize scents with in-game events. The company also noted its connection to the Omara Kickstarter project, which is related to scent display technology.
