Paal Eikeseth appointed new CEO of Aker Solutions

Aker Solutions' Board of Directors has appointed Paal Eikeseth as the company’s new President & CEO, with effect from today, September 1, 2026. Eikeseth joins the role following a successful career in the global oil and gas industry, bringing extensive experience in operational leadership and strategic development.

He succeeds Kjetel Digre, who has served as CEO for six years. Digre's decision to step down was agreed upon with the board, and the transition is considered to be occurring at an opportune moment given the company's strong market position and financial performance.
