Pacify Launches Web Portal for Virtual Lactation and Doula Care

Pacify, a provider of virtual maternal health support, has launched a new web portal to broaden access to its lactation and doula services. This initiative complements the existing Pacify App and allows families to connect with consultants and doulas via a web browser.

The new portal is designed to assist families facing technological barriers, such as limited smartphone access, insufficient mobile data, or unreliable cellular coverage. By offering web-based access, Pacify aims to ensure that more parents can reach its network of International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) and certified doulas.

Melanie Silverman, CEO of Pacify, stated that access to care should not be dependent on a user's mobile device or data plan. The web portal expands the company's reach, making it easier for parents to connect with support whenever needed.

Previously, Pacify offered on-demand virtual lactation support with average wait times under five minutes. The web portal extends this access to users with internet-connected desktops, laptops, or tablets. Services include 24/7 on-demand video or audio calls with lactation consultants, scheduled visits with doulas and consultants, and messaging capabilities.

Pacify collaborates with health plans, state WIC programs, Medicaid agencies, hospitals, and employers. The web portal provides these partners with an additional channel to reach families with connectivity challenges, offering greater flexibility in how care is accessed.
