Palo Alto Networks, NTT DATA Forge $1 Billion AI Security Partnership
Palo Alto Networks and NTT DATA announced a multiyear global alliance targeting $1 billion in joint business by 2029. The partnership aims to help clients deploy and manage AI securely.

Palo Alto Networks and NTT DATA have formed a multiyear global alliance with a target of $1 billion in joint business by the end of 2029. The partnership integrates Palo Alto Networks' cybersecurity platforms with NTT DATA's consulting and managed services.
The collaboration is designed to assist clients in assessing cyber risks, securely deploying artificial intelligence, and subsequently managing necessary controls. NTT DATA has confirmed the $1 billion target represents the total value of customer contracts and orders sold jointly over the period, encompassing both product and service revenue. Neither company has disclosed further details on the current valuation of the joint business.
This expanded alliance builds upon previous collaboration, where NTT DATA was a launch partner in Palo Alto's Frontier AI Alliance. The new agreement spans Palo Alto's entire security product portfolio globally, enabling "platformization at true global scale," which signifies clients consolidating onto a single vendor's security solutions.
A key component of the partnership involves Palo Alto Networks' identity security solution, Idira, acquired through its purchase of CyberArk. NTT DATA has been a significant partner to CyberArk and is already distributing Idira broadly. Such alliances are crucial as many organizations struggle with cloud and AI security risks, requiring both technology and expert services for implementation and ongoing management.
