Palworld Sales Surpass 30 Million Units
Since the release of its official 1.0 version, the game Palworld has sold over 30 million copies. The majority of players, approximately 65%, are engaging with the game on Steam.
As of July 23, 2026, the video game Palworld has achieved sales exceeding 30.5 million units. The game, developed by Pocketpair, has garnered significant attention following its official 1.0 version release, establishing a strong presence on both Steam and through Xbox Game Pass.
Revenue generated solely from game sales is estimated to be around $700 million. Additionally, the game has reached approximately 10 million players through its availability on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass since its 2024 launch. This dual-platform strategy has proven effective in expanding the player base.
The Steam platform remains the primary market for Palworld, accounting for roughly 64.9% of players. Xbox and PlayStation platforms represent approximately 31.1% and 4% of the player base, respectively. The United States and China are identified as the largest markets, each contributing about 27% of Steam players.
Pocketpair also implemented promotional discounts, including a 30% sale on Steam coinciding with the 1.0 release. This promotion has contributed to nearly 1.5 million additional unit sales and approximately $25 million in extra revenue. The company has also hinted at potential future updates, such as a skin system for new creatures, and may be considering collaboration with Fortnite, although legal disputes with Nintendo could create uncertainty.
