Game company Panic has released the third "season" of games for its Playdate handheld console. This new series includes a total of eight games, with two titles being released weekly.
The Playdate, a small yellow handheld console, first launched in 2022. Despite its distinctive features, including a monochrome display and a side-mounted crank, the device has cultivated a dedicated following.
Panic's "seasons" are curated collections of games made available over a short period. The release of Season 3 adds new content for the device's users.
As the gaming industry has seen overall price increases, the Playdate has maintained its appeal by offering a distinct experience with a growing library of unique titles.
