Panoro Energy ASA announced the successful conclusion of drilling operations for two open water wells in the Dussafu Marin Permit area, located offshore Gabon. The company holds a 17.5 percent participating interest in the permit.

The drilling program focused on appraising the North-West Hibiscus area. The first well encountered a 16-meter oil column within high-quality Gamba reservoir sands, adjacent to the existing Hibiscus field. This discovery indicates significant potential in the area.

A second well, drilled as a sidetrack from the main wellbore, successfully confirmed the extension of the Hibiscus structure. Further details regarding the findings from the second well will be disclosed at a later date. The successful execution of the drilling program supports the ongoing production potential of the block.

These results are significant for Panoro Energy and the other joint venture partners involved in the Dussafu Marin project. The company is continuing its operational activities and will provide further updates on the analysis of the drilling results in upcoming communications.
