Panu Routila Appointed New President and CEO of Patria
Patria has appointed Panu Routila as its new President and CEO, effective immediately. Routila previously served as the Chairman of Patria's Board of Directors.
Patria Oyj has appointed Panu Routila, 61, as its new President and CEO, with immediate effect. Routila has served as the Chairman of Patria’s Board of Directors since 2020.
The company and current CEO Esa Rautalinko have jointly agreed that Rautalinko will end his term. This decision is based on a shared view of the company's next phase of development and Rautalinko's personal future plans.
Routila brings extensive international industry experience, having previously held CEO positions at companies such as Konecranes and Ahlström Capital. His deep knowledge of Patria is expected to ensure continuity in the company's strategic direction.
Esa Rautalinko, who served as Patria's CEO for seven years, will remain with the company in an advisory role for six months to ensure a smooth transition. He will also continue as Chairman of the Board for the Finnish Defense and Aerospace Industries (PIA).
