Paper Transport (PTI) is evaluating the Tesla Semi Long Range electric truck in dedicated operations within the Chicago market as part of its sustainability strategy to reduce emissions.

Paper Transport (PTI), a dedicated transportation provider, has partnered with Tesla to evaluate the Tesla Semi Long Range electric truck in its operations serving the Chicago market. This pilot program supports PTI's strategy to help customers reduce transportation emissions.
The evaluation focuses on assessing the electric truck's performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency within PTI's dedicated operating model. The company has a 15-year history of commitment to sustainable transportation solutions.

PTI is testing the Tesla Semi Long Range in a dedicated model where consistent routes and mileage are ideal for evaluating battery-electric performance. This initiative builds on PTI's extensive experience with alternative fuels, including over 87 million miles driven using compressed and renewable natural gas.
The company's sustainability efforts include offering solutions such as renewable natural gas, intermodal transport, and now, battery-electric vehicles, to help clients decrease their carbon footprint.
