Paperclip, Inc. Acquires Insurance Tech Firm Apis Productions
Insurance technology company Paperclip, Inc. has acquired the operating assets of Apis Productions, LLC to expand its digital distribution capabilities.
Paperclip, Inc., based in Hackensack, New Jersey, announced on November 3, 2026, the completion of its acquisition of the operating assets of Apis Productions, LLC. The acquired business will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary under the name Apis Technologies, LLC.
Apis provides technology-enabled services to the insurance industry, including web portal development, hosting, and artificial intelligence consulting. Paperclip CEO Ron Alexander stated that the acquisition is intended to integrate the company's existing data exchange and document intelligence capabilities with Apis’ distribution network and digital service offerings.
Peri Lane, the founder of Apis, will remain with the business as President of Apis Technologies. Both organizations have emphasized that the primary focus of the initial integration phase is maintaining continuity for existing customers and employees while aligning operational workflows.
