Paradigm Therapeutics Nominated for Prix Galien USA Award for Second Straight Year
Paradigm Therapeutics has been nominated for the 2026 Prix Galien USA "Best Start-Up" Award for its topical therapy SD-101 (Zorblesia™) for Epidermolysis Bullosa. This marks the company's second consecutive nomination.

Paradigm Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, has been named a finalist for the 2026 Prix Galien USA "Best Start-Up" Award. This is the second consecutive year the company has received this nomination for its work on SD-101 (Zorblesia™), a topical therapy aimed at treating Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare genetic disorder characterized by extremely fragile skin.
The Prix Galien USA award is considered the premier award for bioscience innovation in the United States, often referred to as the "Nobel Prize of biopharmaceutical research." The awards recognize scientific innovations that address significant unmet medical needs and have the potential to improve human health. The 2026 awards ceremony is scheduled for October 29 in New York City.
"This second consecutive nomination reflects Paradigm's significant progress in Epidermolysis Bullosa and highlights the strength of our science and our team's execution," said Robert Ryan, Ph.D., CEO of Paradigm Therapeutics. SD-101 has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) designations as a Breakthrough Therapy, Rare Pediatric Disease, and Orphan Drug.
Epidermolysis Bullosa is a devastating genetic disorder for which no approved therapies currently exist to treat the entire skin surface across all subtypes. SD-101 (Zorblesia™) is a topical cream that clinical trials indicate shows potential for treating severe skin disruptions across the entire body in patients with all EB subtypes. Paradigm Therapeutics is working towards making the therapy globally available.
