Healthcare AI company Parakeet Health has raised $10 million in Series A funding. The investment will support the expansion of its AI platform aimed at improving patient access and revenue for healthcare providers.
San Francisco, CA – October 1, 2026 – Parakeet Health, a healthcare AI company focused on transforming patient access, announced today it has closed an oversubscribed $10 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Canvas Ventures, with participation from Blank Space Ventures, StoryHouse Ventures, and HMC INQ. This brings Parakeet's total funding to $13 million.
The funding follows a reported 10x increase in annual recurring revenue over the past year, attributed to the platform's ability to improve patient scheduling, provider utilization, and revenue recovery for healthcare organizations. Parakeet's AI platform aims to unify patient communication and actions throughout their care journey, managing interactions across voice, SMS, email, and web channels.
Parakeet currently serves six of the nation's top 10 largest dermatology groups, supporting over 2,800 providers. The company is expanding its reach into other specialties and outpatient markets. This growth occurs as healthcare organizations face increasing pressure to enhance patient access while managing costs and staffing levels.
