Parallel Partners with Google Cloud for Agentic Web Search on Gemini Platform

Parallel Web Systems, a company building search infrastructure for the agentic web, has announced a product integration with Google Cloud. The partnership brings Parallel's agentic web search functionalities directly to the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.

Through this integration, Parallel's search capabilities are callable within the Gemini Enterprise API and can be selected as a grounding source in Studio. The service is available via Google Cloud Marketplace, with usage billed on existing Google Cloud invoices, allowing enterprises to build agents with web access without managing multiple vendors.

Matt Renner, President and Chief Revenue Officer at Google Cloud, stated that this integration enables customers to use live-web data streams to enhance Gemini's performance.

The integration allows Gemini models to leverage Parallel's search results for accurate, cited answers. Running on Google Cloud ensures a streamlined and secure integration within enterprise environments. Parallel Web Systems has raised $230 million from prominent investors and focuses on providing search infrastructure specifically for AI agents.
