Paramount Cruises Reports Multiple New Ship Launches for 2026

Paramount Cruises has announced that numerous new cruise ships are scheduled to enter service in 2026. The additions represent a range of vessel types, from large ocean liners to luxury yachts and specialized river cruise ships.

The year's launches include Disney Cruise Line's "Disney Adventure," set to debut in March. This vessel is the largest ever built for Disney and marks the company's first ship permanently based in Asia, focusing on themed entertainment.

AmaWaterways will introduce "AmaSofia" for the European river cruise season in March, operating on the Rhine and Danube rivers. The ship features amenities such as a heated sun deck pool and spacious balcony staterooms.

April 2026 will see the arrival of Norwegian Cruise Line's "Norwegian Luna," designed for thrill-seeking passengers with attractions like a hybrid rollercoaster waterslide. Emerald Cruises is also launching its superyacht-style "Emerald Kaia" in April for Mediterranean and Adriatic itineraries.
