Parsec Aerospace Enters Talks for $10 Million Funding Round
Bengaluru-based aerospace startup Parsec Aerospace, founded by former Pixxel engineer Effy John, is in negotiations to secure approximately $10 million in new capital.

Parsec Aerospace is reportedly in talks to raise $10 million to support its ongoing research and development. The funding round is expected to be led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners. The startup, which was incorporated in September 2025, has yet to provide official comment on the proceedings.
Founded by Effy John, a veteran of the hyperspectral imaging firm Pixxel, Parsec Aerospace operates in stealth mode. The company is currently focused on the development of propulsion systems and engines for aerospace applications. Specifics regarding its proprietary technology, target client base, and operational milestones remain undisclosed.
The potential investment underscores a broader trend in the Indian deeptech ecosystem. Recent data indicates a significant increase in capital deployment toward aerospace, robotics, and defense sectors throughout 2026. While the volume of individual deals has experienced a slight contraction, the total value of capital flowing into high-tech engineering ventures continues to rise, signaling strong investor confidence in domestic aerospace manufacturing.
