Passionfroot Secures $15M to Expand B2B Creator Marketplace to the US

Berlin-based startup Passionfroot announced on Wednesday it has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round led by Insight Partners. The company operates a marketplace designed to connect business-to-business (B2B) content creators with brands.

With this new capital, Passionfroot plans to establish a significant presence in the U.S. market by opening an office in New York. CEO Jen Phan is relocating to lead these U.S. operations. The company is also expanding its global reach by opening an office in São Paulo and growing its current team of 15 employees.

Passionfroot CEO Jen Phan stated that as artificial intelligence makes product development more accessible, companies are increasingly relying on creators to enhance brand recognition and recall. In a crowded market, businesses are seeking creators to build narratives and educate potential customers about their offerings.

"Every head of marketing or growth leader I’m talking to is saying really the same thing: AI is commoditizing software and flooding every category with new products, features, and launches. It’s incredibly crowded and noisy. That is why B2B buyers are going to channels like LinkedIn, a creator’s Substack, or a podcast on YouTube to discover new products and tools," Phan explained.

Passionfroot reported a thirteenfold increase in revenue over the past year. Its client roster includes companies such as ElevenLabs, Figma, Replit, Framer, and Gamma. The company also launched an AI agent named Zest.
