PATEO integrates NVIDIA Nemotron and ByteDance models into vehicle AI platform
PATEO has launched an AI box powered by NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor, designed to enable local vehicle AI processing and multilingual interaction.

PATEO has unveiled an in-vehicle AI solution integrating NVIDIA’s Nemotron and ByteDance’s 35-billion-parameter Doubao language model. Built on the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor architecture, the platform enables local inference for multilingual interaction and cabin control, removing the necessity for constant cloud connectivity.
The system utilizes a suite of localized models to interpret voice, visual, and sensor data. By keeping inference on the vehicle's edge hardware, the system maintains functionality in areas with poor connectivity. The platform manages vehicle commands and personalizes user experiences based on learned preferences, operating within established vehicle safety parameters.
The company announced a production nomination for a new-generation vehicle, with series manufacturing scheduled for the second quarter of 2027. PATEO is pivoting its business model toward a recurring revenue structure, leveraging the hardware deployment to sell ongoing AI-driven software services.
