Patria and the Finnish Defence Forces held a joint demonstration on November 5 in Upinniemi, Finland, to showcase the operational capacity of autonomous systems. The event featured a synchronized exercise involving unmanned vehicles operating simultaneously at sea and in the air.

During the event, officials announced the formation of a new Unmanned Systems Company within the Coastal Brigade, set to launch at the beginning of next year. This move signals a formal step toward integrating autonomous technology into the daily operational structure of the Finnish military.

Patria, acting as a strategic partner to the Finnish Defence Forces, has invested several years into the research and development of these systems. The ongoing collaboration aims to enhance surveillance and operational versatility by utilizing unmanned technology to complement traditional military capabilities.
