Finnish defense technology company Patria and Czech partner STV GROUP showcased the Patria AMV XP 8x8 armored vehicle for the Czech market at the Future Forces Forum in Prague, held from October 21–23, 2026. The presentation focused on a model designed to meet Czech operational and industrial requirements, emphasizing local production and servicing.
The event highlighted the vehicle's modular design, capable of integrating various weapon systems, including the Patria NEMO 120 mm mortar system. Additionally, the Patria AMV Full Mission Simulator was on display, offering realistic and cost-effective training for crews. Patria stated the cooperation aims to enhance Czech industrial capacity, improve security of supply, and promote national readiness.
The localization model involves significant participation from Czech companies in system integration, production, maintenance, and lifecycle support, with a focus on technology and know-how transfer. Patria also organized an industry event with the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic (AOBP) to foster networking and collaboration with local firms.
